WHY AVI’S SWEET TREATS EXISTS
As a baking enthusiast, I LOVE food, and I especially love to share it with others. I figured I could use my baking skills to create delicious, sweet treats while giving back to my community. So, with the support of my family, I created Avi’s Sweet Treats.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the food security of many families in our community, and as a result, one in eight Arizonans have no choice but to go hungry. Fortunately, we were not as severely affected by the pandemic, and we wanted to do what we could to help others during this crisis. Avi had always been a recreational baker, and during quarantine, he began experimenting with creating his own batter and baking dozens of cupcakes. We quickly realized that we could use Avi’s baking skill to raise funds for our community and show support to those who needed it the most.
WHAT AVI’S SWEET TREATS STANDS FOR
While Avi’s Sweet Treats has supported causes ranging from education funding to veteran healthcare, the organization’s primary focus is on addressing food insecurity. According to St. Mary’s Food Bank, each dollar donated to the organization can yield seven full meals for those in need. Thus, Avi’s Sweet Treats is dedicated to raising as much money as possible to help St. Mary’s provides relief to Arizona’s starving population. Currently, Avi’s Sweets donates both money and cupcakes to food banks and pantries around the valley, such as St. Mary’s Food Bank and the West Valley Community Food Pantry.
The fundamental goal of Avi’s Sweet Treats is to raise as much money as possible to feed starving members of our community. All actions Avi’s Sweet Treats takes are motivated by this key idea. For this reason, 100% of all profits from Avi’s Sweet Treats’ sales go to charities combating food insecurity.
